Sevilla defender Sergio Ramos could understand the emotions of Jesus Navas last night.

Against Cadiz, Navas made his 500th appearance for Sevilla and was seen in tears after being substituted. He would later announce he was leaving the club this summer.

Before then, Ramos said: "They are very emotional moments, not only on a personal level. Football is an unknown, you never know what can happen. It's normal. I don't know if he will be a little clearer about what he is going to do with his future, but for the people's recognition is normal for them to get excited.

"You never know when the last moment will be. I'm not sure at all. I live in the present and I like to enjoy football. Let's focus on those games we have left and let it be what God wants."

Coach Quique Snchez Flores also spoke about Navas in the press room. "500 games, a tremendous emotion that he has carried all season, Sevilla feels like no one else, he has suffered in the game when things got strange and so did the team... I understand that when they take you out in such an emotional situation, you can collapse. With Jess it is a tremendous thing. A capable, organized boy, an example of a player."
