The agent of Manchester United-linked forward Michael Olise has been given a six-month ban by the Football Association.

This news emerges following an investigation into a contract agreed with the player’s former club, Reading, in 2019.

The agent negotiated to ‘receive payments contingent on the future transfer of a player’ which is a breach of FA agent rules, as per BBC Sport report Alex Howell.

Olise’s agent has until October 4 when his ban comes into force. In turn, he can still preside over any deal that concerns his clients like Olise in this summer’s transfer window.

The Crystal Palace winger has attracted interest from United, Bayern Munich and many other clubs.

It’s now time for the agent in question to get everything he needs in order. Ensuring Olise joins a top club will be one of their key objectives this summer before the ban starts.

United fans are hopeful to see a new right winger brought in this summer, after two underwhelming seasons with Antony on the right side of attack. Olise would be an upgrade on the Brazilian and he recently enjoyed a perfect audition against United by scoring two goals.
