AC Milan defender Thiaw: We can win Europa League

AC Milan defender Malick Thiaw was delighted to feature in their Europa League playoff win against Rennes.

Milan won the first-leg 3-0 on Thursday night.

Thiaw said: "I'm very happy to be back on the pitch, I felt very good. I didn't spend a simple period, but now I'm happy.

"Gabbia and Kjaer did very well, I worked patiently without forcing my return. In the locker room we are all happy for this victory.

"We can win the Europa League, but we first have to think about the next match against Rennes."
