Push To The End

Hey Yardbarkers, This is my second year in the Majors and I have already noticed that nothing is going to be easy any time we play the Padres. First two games of the series were tough losses for us. On Sunday, it was just one of those days where you have everything working. I was able to get ahead hitters and put guys away when I needed to. It was a big win for us, we had some great defensive plays, and had some clutch hitting from Andre Ethier and James Loney. We started yesterday in Chicago with a big win against the Cubs. Loaiza really stepped up big and pitched a great game, and the offense did a great job of producing some runs. That's what we need to make a push for the playoffs.

  You've done a great job since joining the starting rotation. You've given it a HUGE, much needed shot in the arm. Your future looks very bright. I hope we see you in Dodger Blue for many years to come. I like what I'm seeing from the club as a whole the last two games. If you all can stay on this roll, there's no stopping you from forging through the playoffs, on to the series, and ending the championship drought. GO DODGERS!!!!!!!!

  It's been GREAT watching you pitch so far this season! As a long-time Dodger fan and season ticket holder, I can't tell you how amazing it is to watch a home-grown future ace like yourself come into his own. Keep up the great work out there! And thanks for taking the time to write this blog!

  just make sure laroche starts at third for the rest of the year. nomar is a great character guy, but his role is pinch hitter off the bench, laroche is the future and the present at 3b.

  Great to see your blog. But most of all, great to have you in the Dodger starting rotation. If the Dodgers are smart they'll sign you to a long-term contract before you are eligible for arbitration. I would love to see you and Penny as our no. 1 and no. 2 for the next 10 years.   another great start tonight Chad. Too bad things didn't work out. I really don't understand why Grady took you out. Especially after he decided not to pinch hit for you. Yet he took you out after allowing that single to Bonds. It just didn't make sense to me. Regardless, you had a great start.

  Hey Chad,
  I'm really looking forward to you young guys getting the Dodgers to the World Series. You may not make it this year but I really feel that this organization is building a World Series caliber team. Living here in San Diego I always pAAAd fans talking about how they own the Dodgers, well my feeling is because this Dodgers team is younger you guys simply aren't ready yet. But next year.......I think after you guys getting the experience of going through a playoff chase you will own the pAAAds, win the division and make a serious run at getting to the World Series.
